ms509 problems

I am dedicating this website to my so called "magnificent" experience with Autel and it's "fine" products & support.

Also to "the-tottaly-existing-company-that-makes-fake-copies-of-the-original-and-best-products-of-autel".
First of all check if your maxiscan's serial number is MS505245 ( you can check that from the device's "Tool Information" ) and if it is, then you have a fake chineese copy, that can not connet to PC.Sadly it does not support as many vehicles as the original does. Also no upgrades / updates. You can track my progress on fixing that on the page from the menu above. So lets begin with the technical data!

* You can view and download all the things you need for your MS509 from here:

You can say thanks by visiting my websites more often lol.

Hi there! I would like to tank you for you downloads. Unfortunately after looking at you files for upgrading my unit, I found out that I bought I fake with the same serial number as yours LOL.

I've been looking at the problem and thanks to a forum and a blog with pictures of the inside of the original unit, I found out that there is a UC missing on the clones alongside with a couple of resisters and a Crystal. Here is the webpage with the images

http://georgestone72.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/harbor-freight-cen-tech-98614-autel.html?showComment=1379500992364#c7329972654168572647

You can open yours to see if yours is missing the parts as well.

I did post a question to see if I can get the details of the parts missing on the clones.

I'll keep you updated about my progress.

Seeing this I now know the most likely reason it wouldn’t link to my sons Lexus . Fortunately I found the problem without scan tool .
I just tried to check serial number and all that came up was a K some spaces then a little symbol more spaces another symbol more spaces then =B. . Am I correct to think this is a fake or is software not properly loaded ?
