Virtual COM Port Drivers

maxiscan can not connect to usb
maxiscan usb unknown device
ms509 unrecognized device

These are the errors when you don't have virtual COM port drivers, which the product manufacturer SHOULD give in the installation CD, but they did not.If you want to connect your ms509 device to your computer ( which I do not recommend as it might catch some STD or other unwanted software ) you will need to emulate a COM port via your USB port, that can be done with a virtual COM port. You can get a driver for that from here:

Windows XP x86:

Windows XP x64:

Or from the link I shared in Google Drive:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw7jT5UWqLe2ZThBUnVINmlhbzA&usp=sharing

The share only has the Windows XP x86 and the executable installation (which I recommend) of the same one.And you can find the rest on the website. Also be aware that they will NOT work with the fake version of MS509.
